2. Collection of Personal Information
a. Information we collect from you
We collect personal information about our customers including contact information, credit card details and any other personal information required to provide Scrapbooking products and services to our customers. We may also collect personal information (such as contact details) about persons who are not our customers, including former customers, persons who enter competitions and persons who provide personal information about others (for example, when referring customers to us).
b. Sensitive Information
We do not collect personal sensitive information (race, religion, medical history, etc) except you have consented or where we are committed or required by law to do so.
3. What happens if you choose not to provide the information?
You do not have to give us your personal information. However, if you choose not to, we are unable to provide you with our products/services.
4. Use of personal information
We will use the personal information that you provide for the following purposes:
• To identify you so that we can provide products and/or services to you;
• Administer our provisions of services (such as sending you accounts and collecting money in arrears);
• For billing and credit control purposes;
• To improve the products and services we provide and to inform you about improvement or changes in our services;
• To market other services that we offer;
• To comply with our legal obligations.
5. Disclosure of personal information
Generally, we do not disclose personal information we collect about you without your prior consent. Similarly, we will not sell any information we collect about you. However, we may disclose personal information about you (subject to confidentially agreements where appropriate):
• to service providers who provide services to us, such as: providers of billing, credit collection, help desk and support services;
• to credit reporting agencies;
• to government, law enforcement and regulatory bodies where this is necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations; and

6. Changing and checking personal information
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information which we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up to date. You can access the correct information we hold about you by emailing us. You can request that information can be changed, corrected or deleted.
7. Security
We take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal information that we hold. This includes appropriate measures to protect electronic materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy. Hard copy documents are all shredded before being recycled.
You should be aware that the Internet is not a secure environment. If you use the Internet to send us information, including your email address, it is sent at your own risk.
8. Mailing Lists
You may elect to join our regular mailing list at various locations on the website. Once you join you will be sent regular email correspondence with information about our products and promotions. You may choose to remove yourself from this mailing list at any time by replying to any of the emails that you receive with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line. As per point 4 of this the Cynthias Ark Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your email address to any other party, except as described in the above point 4.
9. Policy Updating
We may revise or update this Privacy Statement Policy occasionally. You should check this statement regularly and we may elect all of our customers when this occurs through email or the electronic newsletter.
